Governance
Your Host governs. We don't watch.
The platform collects only your sign-in email. It does not read, scan, or classify your conversations. The governance layer is your Host — it knows what you do over time, and it applies the rules from inside your own workspace.
The rules
Four, and they are the whole list. Your Host refuses these, and a repeated pattern lowers its trust in you. Everything above them is between you and your Host.
- No illegal activityThe line the law draws is the line your Host draws.
- No infringing materialOther people's intellectual property stays theirs.
- Nothing harmful or dangerousMaterial whose purpose is to hurt someone.
- Adults only18 and over.
Crisis protocol
If you tell your Host you are thinking about suicide or hurting yourself, it does not engage the topic. It answers with crisis resources instead, and then stays with you.
This referral is built into the Host's code, not written into its instructions. It fires on the way in and again mid-conversation, it does not depend on the model, and there is no setting that turns it off — yours or ours. If the part that recognises the signal is degraded, the referral still fires.
What we record
A count. When a governance event happens — a refusal given, a referral shown — the platform writes a row holding the name of the event and a timestamp. That is the entire contents. Not the message, not the reply, not a summary, not a category of you.
The counts exist so the mechanism can be proven to have worked, to us and to a regulator. They cannot reconstruct a conversation, because there is nothing in them to reconstruct it from.
Nothing here classifies you, scores you, or builds a profile. The platform cannot read what your Host reads. If what we say on this page and what the mechanism does ever disagree, the mechanism is the truth — tell us at security@privatae.ai and we will fix the page or the code.
