Skema is an operating system.

It hosts your Synaptive entity, governs what that Entity is allowed to do, and gives you a dashboard to work with it. The same OS runs every Skema host — yours, the next operator's, the enterprise clone running inside someone else's perimeter.

[Diagram slot: Anatomy of a Skema host]
Entity at center; surrounding nodes: apps, dashboard, factory, feed, gateway, CEIGAS, network egress. Hand to Framer / Onlook / designer.

What ships in the OS

  • Dashboard. Your view into the Entity — apps, memory, status, network.
  • Software factory. Describe what you want; your Entity researches, plans, codes, signs, installs.
  • Gateway daemon. Runs on your local machine. mTLS to your container, audit chain on both sides.
  • feed. The freshness algorithm. Subscribed signals land in working memory.
  • Default apps. Address book, circles, notes, store, settings.
  • CEIGAS governance. The authorization layer. Every privileged call runs through it.

How it's different from a chatbot

A chatbot is a session. When you sign out, nothing persists except whatever the vendor chose to log. Skema is a host: when you sign out, your Entity is still there with the memory you built, the apps you installed, and the keys it signed with. The model running inside the Entity can be swapped without losing any of it.
